For 28 years I have consistently leaned into the beautiful and alluring world of art. From humble beginnings with an No.2 pencil and notebook paper, to showing throughout the mid US. In my 20s and 30s, I kept developing my skill in acrylic and oil as my art found its way into private collections all over America. Now as I enter a new decade I have begun to explore the complex relationship with watercolor. I have found over the years that art has taught me, in so many ways, to value, study and create the everyday moments around me. From the wide expanse of the Oklahoma sky, to the delicate petals of flowers opening in spring, my goal is to reflect on the beauty and nature all around in hopes that the records of this art journal that I create throughout my life brings a little bit of joy into yours.
